Congratulations on making the decision to study at the University of Idaho! We’re ready to welcome you on campus in Idaho. Here's a quick and easy checklist of what you need to do before you arrive in Moscow, Idaho or download our print checklist guide:

Accept your offer and pay your deposit.

Send in any remaining documents and pay your deposit and fees.

Apply for your visa

Complete your visa application and prepare for your visa interview.

Make travel arrangements

Book your flights and plan to arrive in Moscow, Idaho at least two days before orientation in case of travel delays. New student orientation for Spring 2018 starts on January 8, 2018. 

Apply for housing.

Be sure to apply for housing early on so you can choose from a wider variety of accommodation options.

Pack and prepare to carry important documents with you.

You'll need to label your luggage, pack all necessary belongings and bring along important documents including your completed immunization form, medical records, prescriptions, academic transcripts, your financial documentation, I-20 and your passport. Download our pre-arrival checklist >>

Check in and attend orientation.

New student orientation for Spring 2018 is January 8-9, 2018. All students must check in at the UI International Programs Office (IPO), which is located in the Living-Learning Community (LLC), Building #3, Ground Floor. Office hours are 7:30am-4:30 pm.
